Sunrise over the Kenai

Now that we are in the swing of winter, the light situation has changed quickly and drastically. I assumed this was going to be bad thing- but once again, Alaskan beauty does not disappoint. Now I get to see a gorgeous sunrise every morning. The sun rises very slowly, from roughly about 8:45am to 10:15am, a little later each day. It is just amazing to see the sun come up over the Kenai river in our backyard. Since it is so cold these days in the mornings, mist rises from the river. Absolutely gorgeous!

MOOSE WATCH! ...in India?

TOTAL MOOSE: 38
Well, I highly doubt we will be seeing any moose in India....so, stay tuned for some other kind of wildlife "watch". I will have to survey the scene there before deciding which animal to choose....so far I am thinking "Monkey Watch!". :)
